Ten natural gas liquefaction units, known as Movable Modular Liquefaction System (MMLS) trains, together will process and liquefy natural gas and deliver a total capacity of up to approximately 2.5 million tonnes per annum. Construction of the plant will be conducted to reflect the modular nature of the facility. Commissioning will include the three first MMLS units, and then the seven additional MMLS units.
The economic benefits will be far-reaching.
Construction of the project and later plant operation will generate major economic benefit for the local community, the state and the region. Construction and supply for the building of the project will create many jobs and utilize much local content including contractors, vendors, hotels, restaurants and other local suppliers. Subcontracting for site services will include local hire for labor, and utilization of many local vendors for consumables. Once in operation, the plant will generate jobs and tax revenue.
Will efficiently process clean natural gas.
